I recorded this video with Video Out in 2017 when my kid was just starting to explore what gender might mean to them.

You’ll see I’m emotional. Maybe you are, too?

Now, looking back at these early years, I can say to that younger version of myself, everything is going to be OK. Better than OK, even.

I’m saying that to you, now, as well: Everything, and I mean everything, is going to be OK.
